Aquarium, including the Living Planet Café and support with catering events.
Primary Job Duties:• Oversee all aspects of the front of house operations including, but not limited to, FOH staffing (Café and Events), inventory,
scheduling, and customer service
• Works with the Catering Sales Manager as support for some events including set up, timing, etc.
• Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among VHG and LLPA teams.
• Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
• Monitors and maintains the productivity level of employees.
• Communicates areas that need attention to staff and follows up to verify understanding.
• Coordinates cleaning program in all F&B areas.
• Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees.
• Creates and nurtures a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, and passion for
providing service.
• Follows and executes property specific service recovery plan.
• Readily available for team members and guests during shift.
• Other duties as assigned, to meet business needs.Qualifications/Requirements:• 2 - 3 years of experience in restaurant management or a related field, banquet experience a plus.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management, food safety, and customer service.
• Familiarity with restaurant software and POS systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Efficient in Microsoft Office
