The Data Center Lifecycle Configuration Team (DCLC) is seeking a manager of the Equipment BOM builders’ team of technical infrastructure program manager (TIPMs). DCLC owns the lifecycle for AWS data center bill of materials (BOMs) in support of management of forecasting, sourcing, procurement, assets, spares and maintenance. The Equipment BOM builders deliver the equipment product BOMs that make-up the DC infrastructure for AWS data center bill of materials, assembly and component data from concept to obsolescence.

This role will manage the Equipment BOM Builders function responsible in the development of equipment New Product Introduction (NPI), the deprecation process, and a change control board mechanism to enable change impact visibility to business partner. Successful candidates will have a technical background, experience driving equipment BOMs from the idea to market and being detail-oriented and have excellent problem-solving abilities. This person should be passionate about delivering scalable supportability strategies, and be obsessed with contributing to the development of a high-performing team through rigorous goal-setting, disciplined attention to performance metrics, continuous process improvement, and mentorship.

Key job responsibilities

-Create and execute projects that will support teams’ development of an end-to-end BOM solutions from concept to global deployment.
-Establish and maintain a robust relationship with key stakeholders.
-Develop a deep and complete understanding of product supportability and what it means to successfully deliver for the customer.
-Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing NPI supportability process and related work.
-Developing program plan to cover all areas of supportability, resource, redundancy, technical,
-By working with infra-teams, help clarify supportability design requirements for new equipment BOMs.
-Surface roadblocks and propose alternatives to management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
