Position and Responsibilities: The Proposal Coordinator plays an important role in efficiently coordinating RK’s businesses’ proposal and prequalification projects and tactics to meet quality standards and deadlines. This position will be critical in the coordination, data entry, proofreading, formatting and delivery of complex proposals and prequalifications submitted to win new projects. Very strong attention to detail, organizational skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills are required. This position will gather all information, format documents, edit, proofread and produce physical materials on very tight deadlines. This position may also coordinate other marketing and administrative support activities as assigned. Coordinate proposal development, including gathering content, formatting, verifying the accuracy, proofing and printing/delivery for completion on tight deadlines. Coordinate and execute prequalifications issued by customers on tight deadlines. Manage and improve the proposal process, including archiving files on shared drives, posting completed projects, updating and saving design templates, etc.  Data mining: independently researching, gathering and producing data from internal programs/resources, including InforCRM and Viewpoint, and external resources to use in proposals, new business content and prequalifications. Support the post-RFP interview process by developing tailored presentations and assisting project teams with interview preparation to enhance their chances of winning new work.  Develop and create business development presentations to support RK’s new business initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client needs. Coordinate projects and serve as the project liaison between Marketing Department staff, internal clients and external vendors. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, Training and Development or related field.  1-3 years of experience in a related field. Graphic design experience, a plus. Extreme attention to detail required; must be able to apply a consistent, methodical approach to creating proposals and other documents that require extensive formatting and proofing according to brand standards and style guides. Strong writing, editing and proofing skills.  Analytical skills; capable of conducting secondary market research and creating / using simple Excel spreadsheets. Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Acrobat required; capable in Adobe Photoshop, a plus. Capable in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Sharepoint and shared drives. CRM experience with InforCRM, Viewpoint and/or other similar CRM and marketing automation software is a plus.
