This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including proposal assistance, event coordination, sponsorship management, updating promotional materials, compiling award submissions, and maintaining essential databases and mailing lists, among other tasks.


Key Responsibilities: These key responsibilities are fundamental duties that the incumbent must be able to perform independently or with reasonable accommodation.

  • Deliver focused proposal assistance and aid in the creation of practice-oriented marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with the Proposal Team on significant proposals and RFPs.
  • Revise marketing materials and sustain experience records and lists within the Foundation.
  • Organize responses to practice rankings and submissions.
  • Plan, manage, and execute practice marketing events.
  • Oversee event logistics, budget management, invitation lists, invitation wording, and RSVPs.
  • When applicable, partner with members of the Events Team to ensure effective event execution.
  • Monitor marketing opportunities, sponsorships, and practice clients/prospects using Salesforce.
  • Work alongside the broader Marketing Team to implement identified initiatives.
  • Address daily requests and support ongoing practice efforts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

This position may occasionally involve travel.


Required Skills: Candidates must be detail-oriented with exceptional customer service abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong project management skills are essential for coordinating multiple projects and meeting the demands of key stakeholders. The ability to engage with personnel at all levels and diplomatically handle challenging personalities is crucial. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver, a successful team player, and possess strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word, is necessary. A general understanding of the legal profession's business model is preferred.

Preferred Skills: Previous experience utilizing Foundation or similar proposal and experience software is advantageous.


Education and Experience: Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, along with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in legal or professional services. Candidates with a general understanding of the legal field, project management, and event planning experience are preferred.
