We are addingTwo Senior Financial Analysts to join our FP&A team at Fingerhut

Senior Financial Analyst – Supply Chain is accountable for financial planning and analysis supporting key cost elements on both the income statement and balance sheet. This role also drives key financials analyses, business processes, and decisions in partnership with internal stakeholders. The Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance. This role will provide critical financial and analytical support to business partners withintransportation, operations, third party logistics, and executive leadership.

The Senior Financial Analyst - Technology will play an integral role in supporting the Fingerhut mission and driving financial results. This person will ensure the integrity of our financials and provide insights through analysis and reporting. They will use their unique expertise to provide grounded recommendations, and the opportunity to influence and enable the business to take action. This position is a key value-added role within FP&A that partners with various levels of the Technology team. Overall, this role will be responsible for complex, timely and accurate financial planning, reporting and forecasting for that area of business which will include capital expenditures and project reporting.

This role is based out of our Eden Prairie, MN head office within our hybrid environment that has team members come into the office 3 days a week.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

Prepare detailed financial models in alignment with key business drivers Facilitate and share financial performance including variances to plan and prior forecasts, identify performance trends, risks and opportunities to leadership team Prepare and socialize monthly expense reporting packages Prepare monthly capital spend summaries and analysis, which include opening / closing capital projects in ERP system, reviewing invoices and reconciling the financial systems to ensure reporting integrity Ensure accuracy of financial results and comprehensive understanding of variances Partner with Accounting to perform month end close activities Execute financial analysis and report findings to support key business decisions and drive change Streamline existing internal processes to gain efficiency or adapt to changing business requirements Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related fields 4+ years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, or related fields Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and critical thinking skills Progressive accounting and/or financial planning and analysis experience business partnering with the technology team within a business Proven analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel), demonstrate critical thinking, ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations Strong technical skills including MS Excel, MS Office products

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Hyperion Essbase experience Self-sufficient and proactive aptitude to solving business challenges Proven experience building and maintaining strong, cross-functional working relationships and add value as a financial business partner Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience presenting financial results to partners Proven experience in a fast-paced, transforming environment and deliver results under tight deadlines Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team
