Duties And Responsibilities Financial Modeling and Reporting Manage complex models with multiple sources to ensure integrity of portfolio reporting Perform monthly variance and trend analysis ensuring complete understanding of monthly results and variances Budgeting and Forecasting Partner with Credit and Finance teams to develop forecasts for expense related to Credit G&A, Statement & Payment Processing, and other Credit Operations areas Facilitate management’s understanding of financial performance including variances to plan and prior forecasts, identifying performance trends, risks and opportunities Review and challenge key assumptions, drivers and metrics used to develop forecasts and plans Management Consultation Financial analysis to support key business decisions Support and drive change Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other applicable majors 4+ years of finance, accounting, operations, business analytics or planning experience with progressive responsibility Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel), demonstrate critical thinking, ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations Strong technical skills including MS Excel, MS Office products Preferred Qualifications Hyperion Essbase experience a plus Self-sufficient and proactive aptitude to solving business challenges Proven ability to build and maintain strong, cross-functional working relationships and add value as a financial business partner Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience presenting financial results to partners Thrive in a fast-paced, transforming environment and deliver results under tight deadlines Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team About Fingerhut BLST Operating Company (Bluestem Brands) is a group of FinTech, and eCommerce Retail businesses (www.bluestem.com) led by our Fingerhut and Orchard Portfolios.
