Make a difference as a Program Director

As the Program Director at the Wayman Palmer YMCA, you'll be the maestro behind the scenes, handling budgeting, hiring, training, and scheduling of staff for top-notch program areas like Youth and Adult Sports, Youth and Teen programming, Group Exercise, and Family Events and Activities. You'll get to flex your leadership muscles and ensure that these programs run smoothly, keeping the vibe upbeat and engaging for all participants. With your guidance, the staff will be empowered to deliver programs that embody our core values of CARING, HONESTY, RESPECT, and RESPONSIBILITY, creating a positive impact on our community.

Are you a good fit for this Program Director job?

To rock it as the Program Director at the Y, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Education, Family Studies, or a related field to show you mean business. Along with that, at least 2 years of managing staff is a must to keep the programs running like a well-oiled machine. Your solid communication and organizational skills will be key to thrive in this role, as you'll be working in various program areas and staff responsibilities. Being able to think on your feet, adapt to changes, and motivate your squad to give their best every day will set you up for success in creating a positive and impactful experience for our community's youth and families.
