Are you looking to drive strategic cost improvement initiatives for the leader in the Medical Technology industry? A Day in the Life

Manage one or more value creation projects from feasibility, planning through execution and closure meeting delivery, quality and cost goals. Leads cross functional teams including design, quality, operations, category management to ensure successful completion of projects and business goals Work actively with contract manufacturing and key strategic suppliers to meet project timing and milestones. Develop, communicate, and document project strategies and plans including budget, detailed schedule creation/maintenance, and KPIs Performance of cost/benefit analysis to determine feasibility of project in initiation process. Completion of NPV analysis, resources planning and initial project plans. Provide input to establishing program objectives, timelines, milestones, and budgets Ensure projects remain aligned with the project plan by addressing any resource conflicts and problems as they emerge Facilitate project team meetings: prepare agenda, facilitate discussion during meeting, take and distribute meeting minutes Track project spending by providing monthly forecasts on upcoming spending; forecast resource and skill set needs for the project and participate in resourcing discussions/negotiation Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives Demonstrate business acumen and successful experience managing all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources Establish a measurement and reporting framework to review and report project progress with key stakeholders Use appropriate project management tools, communicate plans and risk management techniques to create rigor in project planning and execution Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison across cross-functional teams Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports Monitors the project from initiation through delivery Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and suppliers Lead and/or support VAVE event planning ensuring deliveries for product analysis are completed in time for the event execution virtually or in person Travel requirement: less than 25%

Must Haves

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of business process, Engineering Program Management and/or project management experience OR advanced degree and 3+ years of business process and/or project management experience.

Nice to Have

Advanced degree Experience in design changes with some technical background in the medical device industry.  Experience leading projects/programs including financial accountability including strong preference for PMP certification Experience working with suppliers and/or contract manufacturers Financial management skills Experience leading cross functional teams Medical Device industry experience Demonstrated strong business acumen and planning experience Strong communication skills (written, verbal, listening (with all levels of the organization) Strong problem-solving skills Ability to influence business leaders, stakeholders and individual contributors MS Project software experience
