Position Overview:

The Professional Education Program Manager is a pivotal role at Cordis, dedicated to enhancing the Professional Education Team's initiatives across North America. This position entails taking full responsibility for implementing programs that significantly influence both internal and external learners on their educational journeys. Reporting directly to the Director of Professional Education, this role is essential for driving the team's mission forward.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with the Professional Education team to schedule and coordinate educational meetings and events based on training requirements.
- Work in partnership with various departments including Global Travel and Expense, Legal, Healthcare Compliance, HCP Engagement, and Finance to ensure program adherence and uniformity.
- Oversee external vendors to articulate program requirements, negotiate costs, initiate contracts, and secure bookings while adhering to budget constraints.
- Maintain clear communication regarding program status before, during, and after events to ensure seamless operations; proactively address any issues or opportunities.
- Lead communications directed at end learners, ensuring a professional and respectful tone; establish standard practices for consistency in messaging.
- Facilitate interactions among Cordis team members, trainees, physician faculty, and external stakeholders related to educational events.
- Manage requests within the HCP engagement system, ensuring compliance with Healthcare Provider engagement protocols.
- Oversee the Professional Education program budget, maintaining accurate records to comply with global transparency reporting standards.
- Prepare and procure educational materials, including product demonstrations and print resources.
- Design essential program documents such as calendars and agendas, collaborating with relevant stakeholders as necessary.
- Advocate for Cordis policies and practices; assist in developing standard operating procedures for training events to ensure consistency.
- Administer post-event surveys to facilitate program improvement and development, collecting feedback from participants and facilitators after each educational session.

Support Areas:

- Coordination of meetings with all relevant stakeholders.
- Arranging travel logistics.
- Managing expense reports.
- Overseeing consultant contracts.
- Processing purchase orders.
- Administering SharePoint site.
- Retaining records.
- Handling IT requests.
- Planning facilities.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in program coordination or management, with prior experience as a training facilitator or in a similar capacity.
- A Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, HR, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications in event or project management (PMP, CMM, CMP) are also acceptable.
- Proven track record of successfully coordinating multiple educational events within a corporate environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically, estimated at 10% of the time.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and web-based delivery tools is advantageous.
- Knowledge of traditional and contemporary training methodologies is beneficial.
