Creighton University is seeking to hire a Patient Care Coordinator II  for the School of Dentistry Clinic Team. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, flexible, and customer service driven. This position will function as a patient liaison during clinic sessions to ensure quality patient access, positive clinical experience and the flow and timeliness of patient care. This position will include being the primary contact for scheduling patient appointments for pre-doctoral dental students in the clinic setting

Bilingual in English and Spanish languages preferred, but not required.

Work Schedule:  Full-time, 11-month role; Usually Monday through Friday; 7:30 am to 4:30 pm

Key Responsibilities

Primary contact for scheduling patient appointments for pre-doctoral dental students in the clinic setting. Responsible for Patient admissions and patient assignments, and reassignments of patient referrals. Schedule all appointments with the assigned students according to requirements. Responsible for students’ day-to-day flow within each clinic session. Responsible for running monthly reports, scheduling appointments from short call lists, mailing correspondence to patients, and scheduling emergency appointments. Facilitating faxes, letters and records requests and any other associated clinical communications and correspondence phone calls emails data entry Promotes a positive patient and student clinical experience.

Qualifications

Bilingual, Spanish preferred but all applicants will be considered. High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years related experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task. Organizational skills and attention to detail required.
