Nystrom & Associates is a team of mental health professionals that specialize in psychiatric evaluations, clinical social work, and family therapy. We are committed to helping patients in our community who are experiencing personal, emotional, marriage, family or psychological problems. Founded in 1991, we offer an intensive outpatient substance use disorder program, psychological testing, and behavioral health and medication management services.

Job Duties:

Interacts with all patients and visitors with warmth and professionalismRoom patients and assess applicable vital signs including, but not limited to height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulseEnsure seamless coordination of care by scheduling patient appointments and collaborating with providers using multiple computer systemsMaintain a clean and organized workspace and telesuite by managing patient paperwork, office supplies, and other amenitiesHandle patient concerns and crises with empathy and patience and collaborate with site leadership to resolve as neededCollaborate with clinical staff regarding patient care issues and schedulingParticipate in front office tasks such as checking in patients for appointments, collecting payments, answer inbound and make outbound phone calls, electronic filing, scanning, faxing, mailingAttend mandatory meetings and trainingsOther duties as assigned

An ideal candidate will have a passion for providing a high level of customer service to mental health and substance use disorder clients. Additionally, candidates will have had prior customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

Highschool diploma or equivalentExperience working in health care facilities and an interest in behavioral health preferredAbility to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailPositive attitudeProficiency in technology and computer use including Microsoft Office SuiteStrong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage stress while navigating difficult situations and escalated patient interactionsKeep all business information strictly confidentialCommitment to position for minimum of 1 year

Hours: 

M-F 7:30 AM-4 PM or M-F 8 AM-4:30 PM
