Talent Equity Group is looking for a Compliance and Licensing Specialist to enhance our team.

The Compliance and Licensing Specialist is essential to our operations, providing vital administrative and licensing assistance while ensuring adherence to all necessary corporate, contractor, and local licensing regulations. This position will work closely with the VP of Compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver professional licensing assistance to the organization and its subsidiaries, ensuring all necessary professional licenses are secured and maintained.
  • Guarantee the timely and accurate completion of all licensing obligations for the corporation and its brands, including the preparation and submission of license applications.
  • Initiate applications for new licenses as required at both state and local levels.
  • Distribute and upload Certificates of Insurance (COIs) to the appropriate licensing authorities, localities, and brand markets.
  • Support various brands across the organization with the COI management platform.
  • Address inquiries from company staff regarding licensing stipulations.
  • Stay informed about all pertinent corporate, state, and federal licensing regulations.
  • Maintain precise and organized records of all licensing documentation.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the VP of Compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 2 years of experience in license management, regulatory compliance, or a related area is preferred (backgrounds in mortgage loan processing, government administration, or paralegal work are welcome).
  • Familiarity with contractor licensing and permitting processes, along with substantial experience in contract review and management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Understanding of Certificate of Insurance processes and protocols.
  • Strong proficiency in computer applications.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience thriving in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and objectives.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems effectively.
  • Capable of working collaboratively in a team setting as well as independently.
  • Proven ability to adapt to new information, conduct research, and apply acquired knowledge.
  • Competence in following instructions and completing detailed forms accurately.
