The purpose of the role is to work in partnership with the global Procurement category leads and regional sourcing and operation managers to deliver the digital capabilities in line with the ongoing sourcing and operations digital strategy as well as transformation agenda. The role will partner with functional and digital experts, global and regional procurement leadership teams as well as external partners to set the sourcing and operations digital strategy, deliver all digital enablers, drive technology advancements and best practice adoption across Pet Nutrition in sync with our 5+5 strategy.

The initial focus will be processing optimization and automation, supplier relationship management, cost modeling, data quality, data foundation, and documenting the current digital ecosystem for souring and operations.

What will be your key responsibilities?

You will lead the co-creation and deployment of the digital strategy for the sourcing and operations area in Procurement, including identifying digital opportunities, aligning with internal and external stakeholders and executing the agenda. You will drive and ensure effective selection and delivery of the most appropriate digital solutions within the functional scope, ensuring full alignment to Pet Nutrition’s wider digital Strategy to meet and exceed the strategic goals. You will apply program and project management best practice throughout, ensuring most effective use of resources and stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for the digital budget management, planning and status reporting, scope control, change management, and people leadership, amongst other dimensions. You will directly manage 3rd party System Integrator (SI) & technology partners, including contracting, supervisory, and deliverables signoff. You will partner with Procurement Transformation programs with sourcing and Operations involvement, R&D and Supply teams, Mars Global Services Global Digital Operations & Shepherd program organization to account for all necessary integration, architectural, infrastructure, and service / sustainment requirements.

What are we looking for?

You will have extensive experience with a Bachelor in Technology, Business, Computer Science or equivalent experience. You will have previously managed digital projects. You will have experience managing complex IT programs and capabilities with proven business partnering abilities while keeping in mind broader strategy/goals. You will have the ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships with cross-functional and Global/Regional teams with strong business stakeholder management. You will have excellent project management skills, with a strong ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously across different countries and proven ability to manage project budgets and timelines.
