We are seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our FP&A team at Fingerhut. This role will primarily support the merchandising team by executing pricing strategies and providing detailed reporting. You will develop a thorough understanding of our core tools and processes, identify opportunities for streamlining and enhancement, while implementing improvements. As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our pursuit of pricing excellence, establishing new benchmarks, harmonizing pricing across departments, and enhancing our competitive edge. Collaborating closely with the merchandising team, you will help define and drive pricing strategies for designated categories.

This role is based out of our Eden Prairie, MN head office within our hybrid environment that has team members come into the office 3 days a week.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Become a subject matter expert on the company’s Retail Price Management (RPM) system Execute web price changes for the Fingerhut Brand Conduct price reviews and maintenance for product categories to ensure competitive benchmarks and profitability goals are achieved Work with the buying team to set pricing strategy for assigned product categories Execute weekly clearance process, including putting items on clearance, and re-pricing clearance products Refine clearance logic for improved outcomes Improve competitive pricing data integrity through validation and investigation Partner across the organization to streamline pricing processes and execution Responsible for maintaining a high level of accuracy for all pricing events and working with Buyers to resolve issues quickly Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

1+ years prior retail or customer service experience Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and Office. Experience managing multiple tasks and quickly shifting among competing priorities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Relevant work experience in pricing, finance, merchandising, or business process management Degree in finance, economics, business, merchandising, or related area of study Excellent attention to detail and ability to navigate ambiguous situations Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner Basic knowledge of SQL Proven ability to build strong relationships across teams Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, manage projects, and meet challenging deadlines
