DUTIES:
Establish, maintain, and communicate developed product cost, pricing, and tooling details for internal and external customers following established guidelines and processes. Balances organizational sales growth and profit goals to produce quoted prices that will win. Responsible to reporting and analyze pricing data for specific product, and customer category as assigned by manager.
- Extract, and analyze cost, pricing, and margin data at a product and/or customer level
- Deliver data driven recommendations and quotes to customers consistent with company goals. Consulting with Sales, Customer Support, Product Management, and manufacturing personnel as needed
- Maintain CBD data structures, component costing, product quotes, and process flows
- Act as liaison between customers, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and Finance
- Monitor win and loss performance for quotations and track cycle time metrics as well as perform/support periodic price analysis
- Analyzes requests against cost and profit scenarios and present them in written form for managerial review and approval
- Furnish ad hoc reports requests to assist in analysis and justification of pricing recommendations or history
- Responds to ad hoc data analysis requests
- Participate in cross-functional teams as part of organizational continuous improvement
- Coordinate and implement customer requote and price adjustments for production and service parts, including communicating and publishing pricing to customers
- Responsible for the sales forecast and maintaining an accurate forecast and launch cadence summary
- Integrate new programs into the sales model
- Interface with production planning as well as product end of life planning and support
- Other tasks to be assigned
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Business, Marketing, Finance or Economics preferred, or an equivalent of education and experience.
- 1-3+ years’ experience analyzing data in the functions of pricing, sales, finance and/or marketing
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Experience in automotive manufacturing industry preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing ERP systems and data management. Acumatica experience preferred but not required.
- Skilled in analytical and quantitative problem solving, systems savvy.
- Advanced skill in Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to interpret product prints and requirements.
- Skill in managing multiple tasks/projects along with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment in a self-directed manner.
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and produce consistent measurable results.
- Ability to negotiate by collaborating with others to arrive at a conclusion using compromise, persuasion, influence, rationale, and diplomacy.
- Ability to think critically, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Ability to utilize strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with people at all levels within the organization and outside the organization.
- Proven ability to pursue tasks with energy, drive and follow through, especially in the face of resistance or setbacks.
- Ability to establish credibility with business partners.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous environments and limited supervision.
This is 100% onsite with no hybrid or remote work available.
