Bluehawk, LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex network infrastructures. This role requires advanced expertise in network architecture, performance optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and security of enterprise networks. The Senior Network Engineer will lead network projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with other IT teams to support organizational objectives and deliver high-quality network solutions.

Responsibilities
Design, configure, and deploy complex network solutions, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud-based networks. Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance network performance and scalability. Develop network architecture plans and implement best practices to ensure network reliability and efficiency. Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying and addressing issues to maintain optimal operation. Implement and manage network security measures to protect against threats and vulnerabilities. Optimize network configurations to improve performance, reduce latency, and increase throughput. Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network issues, providing resolution and documentation. Perform root cause analysis of network incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Provide advanced support for network-related problems, including configuration, connectivity, and performance issues. Manage network projects from initiation through completion, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support. Collaborate with other IT teams, including systems, security, and application engineers, to ensure integrated solutions. Mentor and provide guidance to junior network engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI polygraph. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. 12 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong background in designing and managing complex network infrastructures. Advanced knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, firewall technologies, and VPN solutions. Experience with network monitoring and management tools (., Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG). Proficiency in network design and configuration using industry-standard technologies (., Cisco, Juniper, Arista). Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are highly desirable.
