We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Cybersecurity Engineer who will play a crucial role in designing and executing integration solutions for applications throughout the organization. This position requires assessing current systems, merging various components, resolving issues, and enhancing overall performance. The Cybersecurity Engineer will also be responsible for documentation, configuration management, and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure system integrity and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement integration solutions for applications across the organization or its divisions.
  • Assess existing systems to identify integration needs and ensure that solutions align with organizational objectives.
  • Merge various systems, networks, and servers to achieve comprehensive goals.
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues to improve performance and data integrity.
  • Enhance maintenance and deployment processes to ensure the effective functioning of integrated systems.
  • Create documentation and visual representations of systems, detailing their inputs and outputs.
  • Prepare reports and metrics related to configuration management activities for project meetings and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful system integration, verification, and validation.
  • Act as the technical liaison for change control processes, coordinating with engineers, development teams, users, and management.
  • Provide insights for requirements management activities and generate reviews, revisions, and updates for configuration management.
  • Establish and implement appropriate levels of configuration management for various items.
  • Ensure traceability of designs by linking or unlinking requirements across multiple documents.
  • Conduct audits of configuration items to confirm compliance with specifications, drawings, and interface control documents.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with the capability to obtain a CI Poly.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, systems integration, or a comparable role.
  • Extensive experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing system performance.
  • Proficient in documentation, visual representation of systems, and configuration management.
  • Familiarity with change control processes and requirements management.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
