Gearcor, part of the Columbia Safety family of companies, is the leading distributor of safety equipment, safety footwear, uniforms, tools, and fall protection equipment for the North American Renewable Energy industry. 

As a Gearcor Renewable Energy Account Manager, you will manage our relationships with key corporate customer, managing the distribution of safety equipment to companies that build and service renewable energy projects across the country. 
As part of the Gearcor sales team, your daily activities will include timely order processing, stellar customer service, high-level communication, and positive interactions with our stakeholders - clients, teammates, and vendors. 
With Gearcor you will learn the critical skills needed to succeed in one of the largest growth industries in the nation
Our teammates are highly trained, vital points of contact for our clientele. This is not a typical sales support role, when you join our team, you receive ongoing and in-depth training in order to be a high-impact resource for our clients. Our employees are Gear Experts and you will skillfully be able to represent Gearcor and the entire Columbia Safety family of companies to our customers. Within our tight-knit group, you will rapidly acquire a complete understanding of our product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take charge of all aspects of customer relationships, ensuring client needs are met 
  • Understand our clients' operational structures and intricacies to adapt our proprietary platform(s) effectively to meet their evolving needs
  • Support order management and processing, collaborating closely with customers to ensure seamless and prompt product delivery
  • Use strategic thinking to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, devising preemptive strategies to address challenges 
  • Establish and maintain clear and consistent communication channels with clients, fostering trust and transparency throughout the relationship
  • Become an expert in Gearcor products and their relevance to clients, providing valuable insights and recommendations tailored to their specific requirements
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create an exceptional client experience
  • Provide consistent, and actionable feedback to Senior Account Managers, contributing to continuous improvement and refinement of our services.
  • Be prepared to undertake other duties as needed
