Sr. Accountant

Located in Dallas, TX, Triarc Tank, LLC is a 90-year-old steel pressure vessel manufacturing business. In Q4 of 2022, the business ownership transitioned from a publicly traded company to a PE owned company. The company is in the process of developing its own systems so that it can standup as an independent company. We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with an entrepreneurial mindset, a high level of intellectual curiosity and someone who enjoys tactical hands-on work alongside developing organizational and functional strategy to drive shareholder value. The person should be a self-starter with strong personal accountability and the ability to hold others’ accountable while motivating them to achieve the best results.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
• Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
• Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
• Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
• Secures financial information by completing database backups.
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 3-5 years’ experience in accounting/finance
• Experience with financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with managing a team required.
