As the Lead Data I+A Analytics Specialist , you will help lead the Data Analytics Support Team (DAST) within the Data Insight + Analytics (Data I+A) group. Working in partnership with other groups within the Federal Reserve of San Francisco and the Statistics and Reserve Business lines, you will assist with portfolio management, strategic planning, and training for DAST. You will also be expected to serve in a backup supervisory role. This role reports to the Manager of Analytics + Taxonomy Development.

Responsibilities:

Research and stay current with new technologies in order to provide technical consulting and project management support for technical and data analytics projects in Data I+A as well as identify opportunities to improve data analytics in the Statistics and Reserves Business lines. Develop automation tools or scripts to improve the Group’s business and analytical processes. Represent and/or lead cross-functional strategic projects within the Group, Bank, and System that lead to process improvement, increased subject matter knowledge, enhanced analysis, and higher quality of data. Lead or coordinate technical training for Data I+A and collaborate cross-functionally to provide technical training. Evaluate the analytical or technical work of other team members and respond to requests for peer feedback from management. Function in a backup supervisory role when management is unavailable or absent; responsibilities may include supervising daily team operations and coaching. lead taxonomy development and rule authoring efforts; collaborate with the other sites, manage deadlines and coordination with stakeholders.

Requirements:

Typically, 8+ years of related experience, such as in a financial organization or regulatory agency’s reporting, reserves, or related function preferred B.A./B.S. in an Analytics-related field and/or Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology Prior experience with technical problem solving and explaining complex technical topics Critical thinking skills with an eye for process improvement opportunities Strong technical skills, data querying/analytical software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.) Prior knowledge and experience with a variety of emerging technologies and programming languages

Base Salary Range: Min: $117,800 - Mid: $153,000 - Max: $188,200 (Location: San Francisco)

Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographic and other market data.
