Under the guidance of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Analytical Services Specialist (ASS) is tasked with executing analytical functions that necessitate initiative, sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, and a courteous demeanor. Daily responsibilities may involve regular interactions with the public, California Superior Courts, Employment Development Department (EDD) personnel, Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) internal staff, and Contractor's State License Board (CSLB). Furthermore, the ASS is accountable for overseeing the recovery of overdue Accounts Receivable (A/R) for California Occupational Safety and Health (CalOSHA), Pressure Vessel (PV), Elevators (EV), Amusement Ride and Tramway (ART), and Non-sufficient Funds (NSF) accounts.

Work Environment

This position is situated in an office environment with air-conditioning and elevator access, ensuring a comfortable workspace with both natural and artificial lighting. The incumbent is expected to work 40 hours per week, utilizing a personal computer and telephone as essential tools for daily tasks.

Telework Information: This role is eligible for a hybrid telework arrangement, allowing remote work up to three days per week; the remaining two days are designated for in-office training and team meetings.
