Work you’ll do
Assist USG in capturing and analyzing customers’ C4I requirements to include conducting site inspections and surveys. Recommend strategic approaches and end-to-end C4I capabilities to meet customer needs; develop accurate and justifiable cost estimates for recommended solutions. Participate in Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) events including but not limited to: Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Systems Operational Verification Tests (SOVT), and other events as required. Provide engineering and technical SME support for SETRs and other events such as system training and technical assistance visits. Trace requirements from customers’ need statements, requirements documentation, specifications and test. Manage requirements for capability, suitability, and testability. Provide configuration management, including guiding versioning and change processes. Maintain expertise in current and emerging Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) equipment/technologies in the C4I domain.The team

The Application Modernization and Innovation offering is comprised of experienced professionals who help guide clients through their most complex technology challenges. This can include the delivery of large-scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) & other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Our Application Modernization and Innovation offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business. We provide operational value, modernized mission solutions, and enhanced technology innovation.
Qualifications
Required:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or other technical field 12+ years of experience in systems engineering and systems engineering management with defense sector systems with a focus on designing, integrating, and implementing complex C5ISR systems Proven experience in leading and delivering large-scale systems engineering projects that align with the defense sector Systems Engineering Guidebook In-depth understanding of systems engineering principles, methodologies, MBSE, and best practices Extensive experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) Active Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibilityPreferred:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or another related engineering or computer science discipline Proficiency in systems monitoring, diagnostics and performance analysis tools Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex meteorological, IO or ISR system issues Active TS/SCI Government ClearanceFor individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York State, and Washington State, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,000 to $198,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
