Immediate Need
Applicant Specialist guides prospective candidates through the formal intake process. Responsible for efficiently transitioning a candidate into an official program applicant. The Applicant Specialist is responsible for timely application completion, document submission, tracking information and assessment preparation. Will interact with candidates through in-person inquiries, phone calls, social media posts, text messages and email.
Job Duties
- Enable timely application completion and process support.
- Guide intake process flow to ensure a quality candidate experience.
- Respond and resolve candidate/applicant inquiries.
- Facilitate effective document collection and file readiness.
- Ensure portal information accuracy and data management practices.
- Support, as requested, outreach events, job fairs and information sessions.
- Assist, as requested, with data/information processing from external sources.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience
- High School diploma required, Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Some experience in human resources, recruiting, public administration, business or related field.
- Experience in office administration, recruiting, public relations, customer/vendor relationship management, case management or workforce development.
- Working knowledge of social media platforms, employment and training programs, federal, state and local regulations.
- Able to occasionally work a flex schedule (potential weekends) to accommodate external outreach, training or employment events.
