ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Create an inviting socialized experience for all guests in the area by encouraging the gaming public to participate in all casino related drawings and promotions. Emcee all casino or property wide events and promotions. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, giving directions, supporting marketing initiatives and solicit interest and sign-ups for casino events. Entertain customers during their play by creating a festive and upbeat environment. To engage customers through appropriate interaction and nurture extended time in play. Observe gaming activity and relay security concerns to appropriate personnel. Provide support to the Box Office and VIP Lounge when requested. Using a computer, perform event management, record tournament and event data, com and complete and reconcile post event reports and audit packets. Help to prepare for, set-up and execute all casino events and promotions within the property. Create corresponding collateral for all casino events and promotions Communicate accurate information to guests regarding hours of operation, Hotel services, directions to local attractions or function rooms, car rentals, airline shuttle service, etc. Move throughout the casino floor at a speed sufficient to satisfy customer needs. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules that reflect the business needs of the property.

QUALIFICATIONS

Casino/Hotel experience is a plus. Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a track record of performing each essential responsibility satisfactorily.

EDUCATION

Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Must possess interpersonal skills to deal effectively with business contacts and employees at all levels of the company. Must possess a strong attention to detail. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, customers, and general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and to create and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions through decisive judgment. Ability to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Champion of Customer Service and building positive team spirit. Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekend hours and overtime as business needs dictate.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee: must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, team members and others. Is regularly required to sit; stand; walk and move through all areas of the casino; speak and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel. May reach with hands and arms above shoulder level; bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push/pull. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance visions, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
