Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Leading member of the operations department & the single point contact for SIOP, demand planning, supply planning, inventory management & logistics planning for senior management globally. Own & manage inventory and improve availability of products with the aim to improve the service level while optimizing the working capital. Work with the rest of the supply chain, operations, sales, marketing, finance teams to define and implement demand/supply/inventory planning/logistics process focusing on market dynamics and outlook. Define and set clear and challenging Key Performance Indicators for the department aligned with company goals and objectives. Set-up & define demand planning process and lead its implementation to forecast future demand and trends on short, medium- and long-term horizons. Oversee & manage the translation of the demand plan into a supply plan for CRL distribution centers and manufacturing sites. Drive and ensure execution of the supply plans through purchasing department for distribution centers across the different geographies and production scheduling department for manufacturing. Ensure accuracy of ERP parameters through periodic updates and monitoring the changes in ways of working. Own the demand plan/supply plan/inventory management/logistics process and drive the implementation. Work with service and distribution centers and key suppliers to set up inventory parameters, develop forecasting process and improve service level.

Ensure that each functional group aligns to SIOP procedures & lead the monthly reporting for measuring SIOP effectiveness (Revenue, Forecast Accuracy, Inventory optimization, & Customer OTIF).

Requirements:

10+ Years SIOP/Supply Chain/Planning or related experience in a Manufacturing Environment, 5+ Years with management responsibility. 4-Year degree in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering. Master’s degree preferred. Strong analytical skills, black belt / green belt a plus. History of identifying and capturing opportunities through data analysis and Business Intelligence tools. Demonstrated ability to lead across organizational boundaries. Collaborative and cross-functional approach to achieving objectives. Experience in developing team members to the next level of capability. Positive approach to building and generating value from supplier relationships. Record of creating effective KPI’s and/or escalating performance vs. KPI’s through innovative approaches.
