Work Schedule and Hours:
- Full-time, hourly, non-exempt position
- Monday through Friday
- 12:00 PM to 8:45 PM
- Consistent work hours that allow for personal planning: typically no weekends or night shifts for most roles.
- Generous paid time-off policy, including over three weeks of vacation, sick leave, and time for community service.
Compensation Overview:
- The anticipated pay rate for this role is $22.00 per hour ($20.50 base rate plus a $1.50 shift differential).
Additional Requirements:
- Steel-toed footwear is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate warehouse machinery including pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
- Receive and store incoming materials in alignment with our warehouse management protocols.
- Select, pack, and palletize outgoing shipments.
- Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments and conduct inventory cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, adhering to all safety regulations and performing daily safety checks.
Qualifications:
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Ability to meet physical demands in a warehouse setting, including lifting various loads, cutting wire, climbing ladders, and maintaining mobility in diverse temperatures; must successfully complete pre-employment physical assessments.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Strong attendance record and work ethic.
- Preferred experience of 2+ years in a similar role.
- Prior experience in a large warehouse utilizing a warehouse management system is advantageous.
