3. Summary of the opportunity
- Client Overview: We are hiring for our client, a major technology company in Redmond, Washington.
- Role Summary: The Administrative Assistant 1 will provide support to the Competition and Market Regulation group within Corporate, External and Legal Affairs. The main objectives of the role are to assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, coordinate travel, manage expenses, and provide team support.
4. What are the key responsibilities?
- Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support primarily for a team of attorneys.
- Assist with calendar management and coordinate travel.
- Reconcile and submit expense reports and manage CLE submissions.
- Manage morale events for the team, including planning, execution, and budget management.
- Procure goods and services, including computer equipment, office supplies, and facilities requests as needed.
- Open new CMR matters and revise budgets in the T360 online system.
- Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive material and information.
- Serve as a backup to the Business Manager.
5. What experience are we looking for to drive success?
- MUST-Have Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- 2+ years of experience in administrative roles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, OneNote, Visio.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and solve problems.
- Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience using Microsoft internal tools including MSExpense 2.0, MSTravel, MyOrder, and T360 database.
- Experience in or knowledge of the legal profession.
