Industrial SalesRepresentative

We areseeking a motivated Sales Representative to provide industrialhardware directly to customers within a defined geographicterritory. This role involves coldcalling prospecting and buildingrelationships with businesses. The candidate must reside within theassigned territory.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Identifyand develop new sales prospects through research referrals andvisits to businesses near existingcustomers.
  • Conduct facetoface salescalls with both cold and warmleads.
  • Provide customer service inaccordance with company training andstandards.
  • Submit accurate dailybusiness reports detailing sales orders and prospectcalls.
  • Present products and servicesto customers using sample boards product demos and the mobilestore.
  • Ensure the mobile store isclean welloperated and effectivelymarketed.
  • Maintain uptodate customercontact information using company software including customer notesnames phone numbers email addresses and physicaladdresses.
  • Provide and maintain anapproved fully insured vehicle (mobile store) covering insurancefuel and maintenance costs along with the necessary mobile devices(tablet iPad phone) for territorymanagement.
  • Engage in ongoingprofessional development to enhance jobrelatedskills.
  • Perform additional relatedduties asassigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education:High school diploma or equivalentrequired.
  • Experience:Outside industrial sales experience preferred especially in routeor industrial sales. Proven history of meeting or exceeding salesgoals.
  • Skills:
    • Stronganalytical reasoning and organizationalskills.
    • Detailoriented with theability to manage multiple taskseffectively.
    • Excellent written andverbal communicationskills.
    • Proficiency in usingdatabases spreadsheets email and common businessapplications.
    • Knowledge of theproducts we sell is aplus.

AdditionalRequirements:

  • Mustbe able to purchase or lease an approved vehicle (mobilestore).
  • Must reside within theassigned territory.
  • Aboveaveragemechanical aptitude.
  • Demonstratedability to workindependently.
  • Ability to kneel andbend regularly as part of thejob.
  • Clean drivinghistory.
  • Professional demeanor whenrepresenting the company including driving the approved vehiclewearing company attire and attending companyfunctions.
