We as “Site Reliability Engineering” Team are positioned within RWEST IT with our team members located across Essen(Germany) and Swindon, London (UK) and are looking to expand the operations in USA. As a central team our work horizon ensures different applications support, analysing systems (ETRM , RISK etc), researches problems, maintenance, coordination, cloud native and development of Inhouse and external application tools in energy market. Endur Application Analyst role is focused on providing stability of Endur by monitoring the infrastructure and helping the business resolve day-to-day issues like Trade capture, APM services, EoD maintenance etc.. Responsibilities ensures reliability of systems by performing system problem solving, meeting with users to define business needs. Their goal is to work closely with business and IT stakeholders in quick issue resolutions in the context of an Incident Management, Problem Management, CI/CD deployment etc.

Reliabilities:

Provide operations support by analysing systems, researching problems and maintenance / coordination of different applicationsContinuous improvements of processes through e.g. innovative ideas, enhance automations / monitoring using platforms like Elastic, Grafana, etc.Daily operations (Infrastructure and health checks) and business support to identify potential root cause for failures and coordinate fixes with Development teamsWorking with ION - ENDUR and ensuring the end of day data / workflows managementGood working experience on Power and cross commodity trading including PPA and emission certificatesGather system requirements from business and embedded IT teams to provide solutions via working in incidents and service requestsCoordination and work closely with business and IT stakeholders in quick issue resolutions in the context of an Incident Management, Problem Management, maintenance patching activities and configurations / User ManagementWork in a DevOps model with development teams and business stakeholders - to develop enhancements and coordinationCoordinate and contribute Bug Fixes, Change Requests and enhancements in close collaboration with ETRM stakeholdersReadiness in shift rotations with 24*7 oncall and occasional travel requiredTo involve in migration of legacy application to Cloud based projects (AWS) / Multi-account setup etc.

Your powerful skills

BSc or higher degree in IT/Computer Science/etcProfound knowledge in ETRM domain and experience in ENDUR across different modules like Trading Manager, Market Manager etc.Experience in working with functionalities of APM, Simulations, EOD batch / risk reports plus trade life cycleExperience in working on system upgrades, regression tests, bug-tracking with ION Experience in at least one scripting (powershell, JVS, Opencomponents) and database (ORACLE, RDS) languageAbility to work well under pressure and Strong communication skillsDemonstrated ability with good analytical problem solving skills and soft skills to communicate and collaborate with various teamsAbility to deliver end to end , such as gather requirements , conduct analysis, Implement use cases , test and deploy to production in an agile environmentInterest in expanding IT Operations in Endur and introduce best practises and DevOps


Advantageous, but not a must

Functional and business knowledge in Endur across Front, Risk and Back office functionsknowledge in report builder and Microsoft sql and able to create and understand queries.Knowledge/working experience of automation using Python and visualisation of features using Elastic/GrafanaKnowledge / Experience in agile concepts as Scrum / Kanban
