Senior Business Development Manager, Toys

The Senior Business Development Manager, Entertainment & Character Licensed Products will be responsible for inventing bar raising customer activations, driving the P&L and spearheading business plans in this segment, setting the strategy for driving growth, creating strong partnerships with studios and their licensees, adding and inspiring new selection, optimizing business inputs and outputs, and delivering our vision for our customer experience. This includes identifying potential franchise and product business opportunities, building direct relationships, negotiating contracts, building comprehensive joint business plans and developing collaborative marketing and promotions, and driving sales and margin improvements. The right candidate stays on top of market segment and competitive trends, and is able to execute at both a tactical and strategic level to drive selection, sales, and margin growth. In addition, the Senior Business Development Manager must be an effective leader and communicator internally and externally.
The ideal candidate has strong business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management. Proven analytical thinking, creativity, thinking big, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills are musts. The Senior Business Development Manager is an effective leader and communicator and a seasoned problem-solver.
This position provides leadership within the Entertainment & Character Licensed Products category - driving systems, process, and customer experience improvements that will benefit all categories within the team and across Amazon Stores.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience- Bachelor's degree
- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience with business analysis and P&L management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA- Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
- Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
