Job Description:
The Inventory Management Support role will be responsible for performing the physical and administrative tasks to receive, store, distribute and ship materials, parts, supplies, and equipment to support production line and custom assembly manufacturing activities.
Essential Functions:
Receives incoming materials. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and may operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, etc. Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements. Works under limited supervision; fully proficient to perform inventory management tasks of moderate difficultly requiring efficiency and sound judgment. Coordinates inventory management concerns within and outside the department on matters involving information sharing, explanation, or interpretation to understand and reach agreement. Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance Demonstrate basic/intermediate Microsoft and computer knowledge. Safely operate a forklift and other Powered Industrial Vehicles. Valid drivers license. MS Office experience. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Qualifications:
Requires developing job knowledge and skills typically obtained through a combination of education and experience.High School Diploma or equivalent with four (4) years of prior Inventory experience. 2 years post-secondary/associate degree with zero (0) to two (2) years of prior inventory experience. Must be a US Citizen.
