The Benefits Associate is responsible for the accuracy and completion of eligibility and enrollment processing of client employee insurance changes. In working with insurance carriers, the Benefits Associate will exercise discretion and
independent judgment when handling enrollment discrepancy research, reconciliations, and client censuses. This position will assist with general eligibility questions, order ID cards, and ensuring accuracy in carrier enrollments and
billing. The Benefits Associate is also responsible for producing accurate creation and auditing of client eligibility and demographic census reports. They will also assist with maintaining accurate renewal records in CRM.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Serves as enrollment project manager and is responsible for the accuracy and completion of open enrollment processing. Provide ongoing client billing and eligibility support including: New hire processing, qualifying event processing, eligibility verifications & corrections, ID card orders, carrier online access setup, retrieving carrier invoices, retrieving reports from client benefit administration systems. Responsible for maintaining an accurate record of employee Demographics and enrollments through census updates, audits, and billing reconciliations. Update Internal CRM with renewal plan information. Perform organizational duties such as scanning, filing, and organizing.Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

Proficiency with computer programs, specifically Microsoft Office and Excel

Ability to handle high volume periods with accuracy, resiliency, and thoughtfulness
Education, Training and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university in applicable field of study preferred
Previous office experience, preferred
Previous experience working in insurance/employee benefits, preferred
Experience with Benefits Administration Systems, preferred
The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $20 to $22 per hour.
