Sales and Market Development Manager

The Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) Sales and Market Development Manager North America will expand business development and forward marketing in Extrusion segment, as well as manage a portfolio of direct customer accounts.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
Create and drive a strategic marketing plan (incl. segmentation, go-to-market plans, value proposition development, competitive analysis, product portfolio) for major Extrusion segmentsGenerate attractive business opportunities in Extrusion segments, e.g., Film & Sheet, by cultivating relationships down the value chain and translating customer insights into salesManage customer accounts in assigned areasContribute to long-term competitiveness of TPU North America by developing new business opportunities and strategic marketing plans, especially for Extrusion segment(s)Strengthen the Covestro TPU brand in North AmericaAlign regional market growth with ambition of the global TPU businessWHAT YOU OFFER
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in scientific field, business administration, marketing or a closely related field and at least 4 years of experience in a marketing and/or sales-related function; OR Master's degree in scientific field, business administration or a closely related field and at least 2 years of experience in a marketing and/or sales-related functionPreferred Qualifications
Experience in film and sheet developmentStrong network in industry preferredKnowledge and Skills
Ability to think strategicallyAbility to build and maintain relationships/partnershipsAbility to influence and lead others indirectlyFluent in marketing tools and strategy development#LI-JV1
