Job Description:
Responsible to develop recruitment and retention strategies that align with the vision of the company and Operator. Works directly with the Operator and Directors to meet all staffing needs, ensuring you have the right people on the team in the right places.
Talent Acquisition
Internally and externally network and develop talent pools; attend career fairs; present an attractive brand to potential candidates, resulting in more quality applicants; write job descriptions; and cultivate vision for recruiting materials.
Interviewing and Selection
Team Members: process applications and host in-person interviews weekly; interview top candidates; schedule/coordinate second interview with the appropriate director; coordinate orientation details to selected candidates
Leadership: attend career fairs; post job openings through online job sites; process resumes; administer screening phone interviews; select candidates and administer in-person interviews; schedule following interviews with pointed interviewer; remain point of contact throughout the interview process
Retention Initiatives
● Constantly assess team morale through observation and speaking with staff from all levels, increasing retention and protecting brand
● Coordinate Team Member assessment tools to evaluate morale; plan follow up meetings with sample groups and leadership to discuss results
● Communicate quickly and efficiently with Team Member requests and needs (i.e. assisting with health insurance inquiries, uniform request, relationships with staff, direct deposit, etc.
Growth and Development
Assist Operations Directors in developing current Team Members who desire growth and development, looking within for promotions, etc.
Other Responsibilities:
Payroll processing, report worker’s compensation claims and ensure follow through, maintain personnel and employee medical files, lead investigations, work with management to ensure performance evaluations are being completed timely, and offer recommendation to management when disciplinary action is required. May be called upon to assist with Front of House or Back of House Operations.

Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
- 1 year of previous experience in human resources required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to lead human resource initiatives
- Business acumen ability to quickly gain an understanding of the business needs and strategy, understanding how human resources impacts the strategy, and align staffing needs accordingly
- Strong work ethic and ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks and prioritize workload
