An ideal candidate should have:

  • Previous food manufacturing experience - USDA/meat operations a plus
  • 7+ years maintenance experiene with 4+ years in a Maintenance Manager role
  • Hands-on leadership style
  • Experience with root cause analysis, troubleshooting, machine repairs, preventative maintenance
  • Knowledge of OSHA principles for safety in a manufacturing environment
  • Associate degree in related field or equivalent work experience

Here are some of the duties:

  • Oversee maintenance department
  • Lead and coordinate routine and non-routine maintenance / repairs of manufacturing equipment
  • Coordinate operations to develop and implement new or improved product and processes
  • Assess any problems with the equipment, identify root cause, make the necessary repairs and complete associated documentation
  • Resonsible for inventory and purchasing for equipment and facility maintenance
  • Acts as the point person for computer and Information Technology systems
  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
  • Perform all activities in compliance with company GMP and safety policies, procedures and practices
  • Train new and existing mechanics
  • Work on other projects as requested 

 

Company is targeting 100k-115k base 

 Full benefts including 12% 401k match

 M-F 4am to 2:30pm during the summer/ 4am- 11:30am Winter
