Maintenance Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at SP+. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for directing and managing routine cleaning, maintenance, and repair activities, including power washing, slurring, striping, sweeping, and commercial painting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of day-to-day activities, including supervising maintenance crew and ensuring completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance and cleaning projects.
- Assist with management duties, including scheduling, monitoring, and checking of timecards.
- Supervise the completion of all ongoing and future projects.
- Monitor and implement effective safety procedures.
- Report any known accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the General Manager, Maintenance Services.
- Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills, and other hazards.
- Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections to ensure all are in good maintenance conditions.
- Ensure compliance with environmental standards and corporate governance.
- Lead programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
- Perform other necessary functions as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate. Some college a plus.
- Intermediate computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Thorough knowledge of all areas of maintenance.
- Ability to perform general repair, electrical, mechanical, and cleaning maintenance.
- Desire a minimum of six months worth of experience in the service industry (maintenance industry preferred), but not required.
- Special consideration given to those candidates who have a diverse maintenance background.
- Experience with driving light construction equipment preferred.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be proactive with strong problem-solving skills and proven customer service skills and must be willing to lead by example.
- Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule.
- License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
Physical Demands:
- May be required to stand for 8-hour shifts while managing employees.
- Must be willing to work in different indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
