Program/Operations Coordinator

The ideal candidate for this role will be comfortable working on a team, in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment, and will also be comfortable with basic data entry. You will assist with a variety of essential tasks to ensure our operations run smoothly and be an essential part of our nonprofit as we reduce food waste and food insecurity across Philadelphia.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and allocate daily food donations to recipients.
- Ensure equitable and efficient distribution of food donations.
- Determine and organize food sorting, focusing on efficiency and recipient needs.
- Use whiteboarding and other planning tools to map out distribution strategies daily.
- Assist in weighing all incoming and outgoing food donations.
- Track and report case counts of outgoing donations.
- Ensure all distribution data is accurately closed out by the end of each day/week.
Qualifications:
- Available 8AM - 4PM M-F.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at one time.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must have a personal vehicle or reliable transportation.
