Job Summary:The After School Enrichment Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging programs and activities for youth in our partner communities. This will involve building relationships with families, caregivers, and community partners to provide support and resources to youth. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for youth development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement after school programs and activities that promote youth development and academic success.
- Build relationships with families, caregivers, and community partners to provide support and resources to youth.
- Conduct surveys and gather feedback from youth and families to inform program development and improvement.
- Collaborate with regional teams and supervisors to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in youth development and program management.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. education, youth development, social work).
- Experience working with youth and families in a community-based setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong passion for youth development and commitment to the mission of The Dream Program.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience in program management and development.
- Knowledge of community-based programs and services.
- Fluency in a second language.
- Living stipend provided in biweekly payments.
- AmeriCorps education award upon completion of service term.
- Opportunities for professional development and growth.
