The Patient Services Representative functions as an integral member of the team to deliver exceptional customer service to our patients. The Patient Services Representative works alongside the clinical staff to ensure efficient patient service within the department.

Alternating Schedule: Monday-Thursday/Tuesday-Friday (6:30am-5:15pm PST)

Location: Myrtle St. la Conner, WA with possible coverage at Anacortes, WA location as needed, with advanced notice. 

Primary Responsibilities:

First point of contact for our patients. Sets the tone for a positive experienceExhibits empathy, courtesy, competence, efficiency, and careSchedules appointments and procedures, following standard guidelinesUses Multiple computer and phone systems to fulfill patient needs over phoneVerifies patient information, while documenting in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC)Advises patients of their responsibilities regarding insurance and referral informationOutbound calls for health maintenance

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED (or higher)1+ years of customer service or patient service experience1+ years of experience with basic computer software including Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in a medical office or clinic settingUCB/ACD Desktop phone system experienceBasic knowledge of medical terminologyEPIC experience
