Collins Aerospace is looking for a Project Engineer, Engineering Value Stream to work within the Boeing Engineering Value Stream. You will be accountable for all Wheels & Brakes engineering activities related to In-service Boeing programs. In addition, you will also support product improvements and cost reduction projects for in-production programs, as needed.

The position is working onsite at our Troy OH facility Relocation assistance is available

What You Will Do

Coordinate and drive assigned engineering tasks and actions to closure while providing updates to the Value Stream Lead. Procure test hardware and materials, oversee testing, analyze results, and document results. Identify technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive mitigation actions to closure. Communicate and present technical data to internal and external customers. Responsible for material nonconformance disposition. Support projects for product improvements, cost reductions and manufacturing support for in-production programs. This is carried out by coordinating with the various support organizations to implement changes and demonstrate continued compliance to the equipment specification. Support supplier change evaluations and design changes to ensure continued product performance and service in accordance with regulatory, customer, and internal requirements. Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities across engineering and cross-functional groups Travel up to 10% domestically when circumstances permit Perform other duties as required

What You Must Have

Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position  Experience reading and understanding mechanical drawings Knowledge of basic GD&T principles
