In this position, you will engage in the Wheels & Brakes engineering initiatives across various programs, including both new product innovation and ongoing production support. Reporting to the Engineering Manager for Regional & Business Value Streams, your contributions will be essential in the development of new products and the enhancement of existing programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee, implement, and monitor engineering tasks related to new product initiatives for wheels & brakes.
  • Assist the NPI project lead during milestone evaluations.
  • Coordinate and drive engineering activities to completion, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify technical challenges and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Lead initiatives for product enhancements and cost efficiency.
  • Support manufacturing with material assessments and design modifications.
  • Communicate technical details to senior management.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as necessary.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree.
  • U.S. Person status as defined.
  • Familiarity with mechanical schematics and GD&T principles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in engineering project management.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Background in the Aerospace sector.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline.
