Position Summary:
The ITW Food Equipment Group, specifically within the Global Weigh & Wrap Division, is on the lookout for a skilled Project Engineering Manager. This role is pivotal in guiding high-performing engineering teams dedicated to the design and production of state-of-the-art weighing and wrapping machinery.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Project Engineering Manager, you will:
1. Define project requirements and establish clear scopes for engineering teams.
2. Collaborate with leadership and clients to prioritize projects and manage dashboards effectively.
3. Oversee project discovery, approval workflows, and scheduling across diverse engineering teams.
4. Monitor project scope, milestones, deliverables, KPIs, and resource allocation to adhere to timelines and budget constraints.
5. Establish deliverables and milestones, track project performance, and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
6. Conduct regular meetings to share updates, identify interdependencies, and mitigate risks for successful project outcomes.
7. Maintain accurate and timely communication regarding project status with leadership.
8. Manage project progress reporting and escalate any deliverables that are at risk.
9. Coordinate resources, engineering teams, and clients to ensure successful delivery and acceptance of projects.
10. Oversee release documentation and product delivery processes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in Project Management.
- Familiarity with moderate to complex projects and demonstrated risk management skills.
- A track record of successfully designing and implementing projects that meet budget, quality, and schedule requirements.
- Strong decision-making abilities regarding risks and urgency in project assignments.
- Knowledge in specification, development, design, integration, and product engineering within a project context.
- Experience in scheduling for multiple projects and cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
- Proven capability to drive change and foster continuous improvement.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Experience in collaborating with clients, sales, and marketing teams to gather technical requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree.
- Project Management certification (e.g., CAPM or PMP).
- Experience with Agile methodologies or Kanban processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of Engineering Documentation, Drawings, and BOM development with MRP systems.
- Familiarity with PLM systems and approval processes.
- Experience working with remote, global, or contracted teams.
- Knowledge of food industry engineering standards and regulations.
