The Vice President of Americas Customer Service and Sales provides leadership to the Americas Sales and Service organization and develops the overall sales strategy, operational plans and processes that drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and accomplish Mouser sales objectives. This role provides direction to the Americas Teams, and functions as a key business partner for other Global Sales functions. The role works to create solutions to improve and streamline sales processes in the Americas, which can be cascaded across Mouser’s Global business. This position holds a strong focus on managing internal and external relationships and growing Mouser’s global customer base. The role oversees goal-setting processes for all levels of the Sales organization and uses data to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develop plans and strategies for growing business and achieving company sales and margin goals.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a large multi-generational team, set clear expectations, provide guidance, support to nurture, and maintain a culture of collaboration and success.
• Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and annual budgets.
• Work with corporate cross-functional teams to champion the development/enhancement of critical sales growth solutions that align with company goals and initiatives.
• Manage key customer relationships and actively participate in closing strategic opportunities.
• Ensure staffing resources are appropriate and oversee the recruiting, and movement of all Sales personnel.
• Directly and indirectly manage staff to achieve company and department goals and encourage professional development.
• Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team.
• Travel for in-person meetings with customers and suppliers to develop key relationships.
• Coordinate with other TTI “Family of Companies” business units on key customer/supplier engagements.
• Guide and direct the work of managers and above.
• Develops and maintains a productive work teams by hiring qualified personnel, training, and managing performance.
• Manages teams with integrity, and ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices.
• Customarily and regularly directs the work of two or more full-time employees or their equivalent. Makes suggestions and recommendations for these employees regarding performance, including hiring, transfer, advancement, and termination.
• Manages daily operations to meet department and company objectives.
• Works with minimum supervision and makes independent judgments.
• Flexible to meet the changing needs of the business and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments.
• Initiates, establishes and maintains highly effective relationships with internal and external business contacts of various cultures, and at all levels. 
• Extremely confidential and trustworthy.

• Assists management with development of results oriented strategies.
• Regular attendance at work, in office and /or remote is an essential part of the job.

• Ability to converse Spanish would be an advantage for our Mexico business 


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree is typically expected
• Internal candidates: Minimum 7 years of management experience including, a minimum 3 years as an exceptional performing Mouser Director or other equivalent management position.
• External candidates: Minimum 8 years management experience, including 4 years as a Director or a higher-level management position. Exceptional references required.
