Reporting to the President of Dedicated Solutions. the Vice President of Dedicated Sales will provide leadership to position the organization at the forefront of the industry. Working with his/her team, marketing, sales enablement, pricing, operations, and the President of Dedicated Solutions, the Vice President of Dedicated Sales will be responsible for developing marketing, prospecting, and sales strategies focused on acquiring new customers while evaluating revenue quality and resilience. This leader will have oversight of seven (7) outside sales professionals and two (2) lead generation team members.
This leader will drive focus on customer solutions that include:
- Dedicated TL
- Regional one-way TL
- Yard and warehouse operations
Our ideal leader will lead an effective and efficient sales team by understanding CRST's capabilities and value proposition. You will drive conversations with internal teams to develop and execute strategies related to sales, marketing, and prospecting while being an executive leader with full responsibility for the team's results.

- Communicates clearly and concisely to all levels – from front-line employees to senior executives
- Motivates others in the tenacious pursuit of sales results
- Creates strategic customer and carrier relationships that move our business forward
- Ability to understand and clearly explain an engineered solution and Dedicated pricing philosophy to customers
- Ability to drive prospect conversion and buyer engagement through specific strategies while evaluating the long-term implications of different strategic approaches
- The ability to anticipate changing carrier and customer needs and adapt approach accordingly
- Ability to combine problem analysis and decision-making with up-to-date commercial insight and competitor information
- Monitoring sales activity and results using key performance indicators; ensuring attainment of objectives and taking corrective action as necessary
- Is a driving force in creating a high-energy environment that fosters and rewards team success
- Champions technology solutions to continue to move our business forward
- You lead a team that is aggressive, they take action and enjoy winning
The experience you bring will include:
- Minimum of 7 years of senior-level experience leading an effective sales team in the transportation industry, preferably with Dedicated and multi-mode experience
- Previous P&L management
- Four-year college degree
