Overview
Homes for Independent Living (HIL) operates more than 100 programs located in more than 14 Wisconsin counties. We are an industry leader in providing the best in residential and community-based services for individuals with a wide array of disabilities. We provide specialized supports to people with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, mental illness, and people requiring services to support challenging behaviors. HIL values high standards and rewards loyalty and quality work.
HIL is looking for reliable Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. We will rely on this Administrative Assistant position to perform a variety of clerical, secretarial, and administrative duties. This position works directly with the Regional Director and supports the regional management team. The ideal candidate will be professional, level-headed, experienced in maintaining confidentiality, and provides exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include:
Conduct all business maintaining confidentiality of information
Prepare/ distribute reports, billing and census information, correspondence and other assigned tasks
Prepare/update information needed to meet licensing, contractual and company requirements
Manage petty cash and credit card transactions and billing invoices and be a good steward of company funds
Assist in Quality Assurance Reviews and Quality Improvement Items for Assigned Region as needed
Maintain master calendars/ schedule conference rooms for training or special events
Oversee and process maintenance requests/repairs
Schedule classroom and in-home trainings for new hires
Other tasks as assigned
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
Exceptional communication and problem solving skills
Desire and ability to provide support to people needing assistance with daily living skills
Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma, equivalent, or three years of equivalent work experience
Valid Wisconsin Class D driver’s license for 3 years with an acceptable driving record per HIL’s policy
Access to an insured vehicle is strongly preferred
