Talent Lifecycle Program Director

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Talent Lifecycle Program Director will be responsible for creating and managing enterprise-wide initiatives, leading with a people-focused methodology. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth rollout of programs, overseeing and evaluating the program's performance, including its impact, as well as pinpointing areas for improvement in terms of content, delivery, and strategy. You will work with varied stakeholders to continuously enhance the associate experience.

How you will make an impact:

Leads large scale programs, process improvements and change initiatives, cross-functional teams, and resources to ensure delivery on program scope, schedule, and budget, ultimately to deliver desired outcomes, benefits and value. Facilitate cross-functional working sessions for requirements gathering, risk identification and assessment, options evaluation, decision making, and continuous improvement across multiple programs. Anticipate potential obstacles and takes proactive measures to mitigate any delays that may arise during the delivery process. Maintains consistent and open lines of communication, actively coordinating and scheduling meetings, confirming program schedules, and engaging in discussions to address any potential program issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner. Engages in communication with senior leaders, providing regular updates on the current status of the program and promptly alerting them to any existing issues or potential challenges to ensure the smooth progression and successful outcomes of the program. Anticipates and assesses potential schedule disruptions, utilizing forecasting techniques to identify potential delays, and devises contingency plans and alternative strategies to mitigate any adverse impacts on the schedule, thereby ensuring the timely execution and successful completion of tasks. Oversees all program-related communication to inform, involve, and engage different stakeholders. Prepares and delivers program-related presentations and status updates to leaders to ensure understanding of progress, alignment on direction, and clarity of decisions. Identifies & manages multiple program risks through proactive identification, assessment, reporting, and treatment; reports potential impacts of risks, develops mitigation plans, and takes action to address issues. Influences at all levels within the organization, often setting strategy and direction.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 9 years professional project management experience, which at least 7 years are spent leading and directing large project tasks; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

Awareness of significant contributing factors to manage program change and demonstration of a solid understanding of end-to-end business processes Talent Management experience strongly preferred. Significant experience with stakeholder management Experience in leading and managing through transformation and change Strong proficiency in developing and implementing visionary strategies

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $131,560 to $205,920.

Locations:  Washington D.C.; New York, NY
