Overview

As a Senior Project Director, Strategic Programs, you will be responsible for coordinating the management of interdependent projects and supporting ongoing operations to achieve business-related goals. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to balance customer expectations with internal business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex, risky, and demanding programs, ensuring successful outcomes and meeting customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with project managers to monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance, while working towards program success.
  • Establish direction for functional teams and direct reports, maintaining responsibility for all technical and managerial aspects of contract performance.
  • Develop and implement business planning efforts, aligning target goals with customer requirements and internal business objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Math, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Business.
  • Fifteen (15)+ years of experience in support of Navy Electronics Systems, including:
    • Eight (8) years of program management experience, covering Technology Assessments, Systems Design, Systems Analysis, Programmatic Support, Acquisition Planning, and Budget Planning.
    • Five (5) years as an In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) for Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT).
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense (DoD) procurement policies.
  • Demonstrated success in managing a contract portfolio in excess of $100M.
  • Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Skype proficiency.
  • PMP certification preferred.
