Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform reviews to assess adherence with applicable federal and state consumer protection laws and regulations based on the approved compliance review schedule. Support work performed with detailed workpapers that adequately document scopes and results of reviews. Effectively communicate, in oral and in written form, the review process and findings to theDirector of Regulatory Compliance and the Compliance Committee along with recommendations for corrective actions where necessary. Assist in the tracking of identified compliance findings including root cause analysis to ensure proper remediation. Assist the Director of Regulatory Compliance in developing and maintaining the Bank’s various compliance risk assessments. Maintain a current knowledge of all Bank related federal and state laws and regulations and monitor legislative and regulatory developments.  Serve as a reliable regulatory compliance resource to Bank personnel by providing interpretations of consumer protection laws and regulations Complete required training associated with job function. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and/or commensurate banking experience. Minimum of four years direct experience in the federal and state regulatory environment impacting the banking industry. Willingness to obtain the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager designation within two years of assuming the position. Skills: High level of organizational skills that allow for detailed documentation of work performed. Strong written and oral communication skills. Time management skills and ability to appropriately prioritize tasks. Ability to work independently or in a team setting High level of confidentiality and integrity in order to maintain independent judgment and privacy of customer and Bank information.
