Probation Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Probation Officer to join our team at the Illinois Northern Probation Office. As a Probation Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring public safety and providing support to individuals on probation.

• Conduct regular meetings with probationers to monitor their progress and provide guidance and support.
• Develop and implement individualized case plans to address the needs and risks of probationers.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, social services, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive approach to public safety.
• Conduct home visits and other site visits to monitor probationers' compliance with court orders and conditions of probation.
• Prepare and submit reports to the court and other stakeholders as required.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least one year of specialized experience in a field related to probation or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license.
