Overview: 

The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for maintaining an existing customer base. This includes order management (order processing), pricing, credit, service issues, and quality. This role will generate revenue by processing quotations and orders, influencing delivery requirements and delivery performance, and optimizing equipment efficiencies and freight costs.This position requires heavy team collaboration and communication, best supported by a hybrid work environment. Employees gain the best of both worlds, collaborating in-person, while having the flexibility to work remote on specific days.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities: 

Maintain existing customer account base – order management, pricing, credit, service issues, and quality. Account development – order history, product knowledge, SLA’s, inventory, sales performance, cost to serve, inbound lead qualification Competitive landscape – market trends including pricing, products, delivery schedules, service platforms, etc.

Key Skill Sets: 

Understanding of customer requirements Strong independent initiative Time management Team collaboration Systems knowledge

Professional Experience/Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 3+ years of experience in an inside or outside sales environment Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Ability to leverage technology, where appropriate Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications/Professional Experience: 

Experience working in a CRM such as Sales experience Prior Export Experience Bilingual (English, Spanish) capabilities a plus
